Panel brightness and the content workflow are the two specification lines that decide whether the ad line earns anything.
One cabinet, two buyers
The charging side sells to the guest by the hour. The screen sells to a local advertiser by the month, and the two have different economics: one is measured in returns per day, the other in contracts per quarter.
That is why the ad line is priced separately. A single blended number hides which half of the cabinet is working.
The sightline test
Before the order, stand in the lobby at the hour you expect to sell, and look at the wall. If the panel would be read from a queue, it is worth pricing. If it would only be seen by people walking past on the way out, it is worth pricing at about half.
- Count the footfall inside five metres, for one hour, twice.
- Measure the dwell time where the queue forms.
- Check the sun and the glass wall at the selling hour.
Content and the contract
A screen with the same slide for six weeks is worth less than no screen. The contract that names who uploads, how often and in which language is part of the configuration, and it is signed before install.
